02 March 2023 – Position Statement released today by WISH concerning the operation of vehicles equipped with automatic and semi-automatic bin-lifts. As stated in the Position Statement the Health and Safety Executive have been consulted throughout the preparation of this statement for publication.
This Position Statement is being released to draw attention to the historical and ongoing issues, injuries, and fatalities that are being suffered in the industry, associated with the use of bin-lifts used in the automatic and semi-automatic modes.
